As an Honours student in Physics, I am actively involved in developing and testing a tool to fit temperature and density profiles to galaxy clusters using X-ray spectra. I also work part-time at Marama Labs implementing and testing algorithms for UV-Vis Spectroscopy and creating innovative tools to support research and development within the company. I am passionate about designing models to tackle complex systems, leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to reveal patterns within the data. I thrive on the process of iterating and analysing these models, constantly seeking ways to enhance and refine the outcomes. I have honed my skills in effectively communicating my work to superiors through clear and concise presentations. I excel in independent thinking, continuously exploring ways to further develop and extend my tasks. I actively contribute my own ideas for improvement and collaborate closely with the software and production teams to ensure the seamless integration of R&D outcomes into client-side products. In my free time, I enjoy delving into science fiction and fantasy through books, manhua, and manga. I also appreciate exploring nature by taking walks in native reserves such as Zealandia, where I can connect with the environment and unwind. Additionally, I enjoy playing modded Minecraft, where I delve into creating intricate automation processes, combining my love for technology and problem-solving with a fun and engaging platform.
