About Benjamin Elen

Throughout his career Benjamin has been active in different domains- Extensive experience was gained in the finance domain. Building a solid experience in the finance function and financial processes in the first 10 years of his career and leading finance teams as Consolidation Director for Unilin and as Finance and Operations leader for the Risk Advisory Business Unit of Deloitte- Operations experience in divers contexts. Addressing and solving issues related to operational performance in back office processes and in the core processes of service driven organisations (mostly in healthcare and life science). Advisory roles and working together with clients on dealing with the consequences of change and embedding a culture of operational excellence. Also in his role as finance and operations leader Benjamin is responsible for the operational oversight of the Risk Advisory unit (interaction with support teams, maintaining control over planning and utilization,…)- Leveraging his experience in financial reporting, internal controls and process optimization, Benjamin actively supports organizations in realizing their ESG strategies with a focus on CSRD reporting implementations and introducing EU Taxonomy- Benjamin is seen as a strong people manager and demonstrated his ability to advice on ‘high performance teams’ but also had different opportunities to build and manage teams under his supervision-In different advisory projects and in his roles at Unilin, Benjamin was actively involved in different M&A related activities, mostly focusing on due diligence, overall project management and integration activities.
