About Benjamin Faal

Software developer with a passion for the latest techniques and frameworks within the Java ecosystem and beyond. Over the past 10 years, I have realized various projects, from web applications and websites to servers, working on both the front and backend, and also developing (Android) apps. With extensive experience in scrum teams and a wide range of projects, I have built up a track record for fast-working, reliable and high-quality software. I have a strong focus on security and user-friendliness. I am a strong communicator, customer-oriented, social, and always willing to support colleagues. In addition, I am down-to-earth, stress-resistant, and prefer to work within a scrum team. In my spare time, I like to work on my own projects, such as- Timetable app for Saxion and a personal training web app/app (see GitHub: https://github.com/BenjaminFaal)- Roller shutter control via Wi-Fi with ESP microcontroller (C++)- Reverse engineered Flitsmeister One, own variant with ESP32, LED ring and speaker (C++)- JVM bytecode to WebAssembly compiler, using Java FFM API to integrate a C/C++ project. Also working on oromoyo.ai, a platform for the Aramaic language.
