About Benjamin Feit

I have dedicated my career to promoting education equity and broadening access to innovative, student-centered education across the United States. Working closely with public agencies, school districts, and nonprofit organizations and in my capacity as a charter school executive, I have: Designed and facilitated a federally backed series of trainings for board members and senior school leaders in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New Hampshire, leading sessions on how to establish strong data cultures, track student performance and learning outcomes, and cultivate top educators. Led 13 successful applications for competitive grant funding through the U.S. Department of Education as the principal author and project manager, which resulted in more than $515M in federal funding. Driven the expansion of a charter school network from 4 to over 20 Title I schools across 5 states, raising $12.7M in funding and leading key organizational efforts to support its rapid growth. I thrive at the intersection of education policy, practice, and research, leveraging my expertise in stakeholder engagement, fund development, and program management, as well as the deep network I have cultivated within the education and nonprofit community. Whether advising nonprofit trustees and state agencies, researching trending issues in the education landscape, or leading cross-functional teams in turning around underperforming schools, my goal is to build a better, more just education system for our students.
