About Benjamin Hause

I am a Business Development and Partnerships professional with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, where I have built and maintained strategic partnerships with hotel brands, associations, and customers. I have a degree in Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management, and a passion for delivering innovative and customized solutions that meet the needs and expectations of my clients.Currently, I work at Allumia, a company that provides energy efficiency as a service to hotels and other commercial buildings. In this role, I collaborate with our partners and our marketing team to perform outreach for end-user customers, including attending events, outbound contacts, and thought leadership. I also meet with interested customers to provide preliminary information about Allumia's value proposition and secure early-stage buy-in from them. I gather information required by Allumia's Sales Engineering team to generate proposals, and I present customer proposals and close customers on our contract. Some of the skills that I use and enhance in this role are sales, partnerships, event planning, communication, negotiation, and relationship management. I enjoy working at Allumia because I believe in the mission of creating a more sustainable and profitable future for the hospitality industry.
