About Benjamin Izenberg

I am a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz with BAs in Psychology and Art. I'm currently working at Janus of Santa Cruz, a leader of addiction treatment in the Bay Area, gaining experience one on one with clients experiencing houselessness, substance use disorders, and other co-occurring disorders. I work individually with people to set goals and maintain the motivation to prevail in the face of adversity. Beyond being a resource and connection for clients to utilize to receive medical care, housing, and everyday life necessities I remain a reliable and constant team player in their journey to recovery and a safer fulfilling life. My point of focus is clients who are utilizing Janus's medication assisted treatment clinics, placing me at the confluence of the therapeutic and medical worlds.
