About Benjamin Jerred

As an artist and educator based in Fulton, NY, I blend traditional and digital art forms to explore the intersection between the strange and the familiar. My work spans narrative and interactive art, drawing and painting, programming, and font design, with a keen interest in documenting the peculiar events of life through visual storytelling. My primary focus is on Allfield, an expansive creative project encompassing an indie graphic novel, an RPG storytelling card game, and the successful board game Moons and Stars. I’m actively involved in 3D printing and model creation for projects and enjoy placing digitally architectural models into local photographs to help visualize projects within our community. In addition to my artistic endeavors, I’m passionate about education. I recently designed and currently teach a course in Intro to 3D Design and Animation at the high school level, where I introduce students to the principles of design and animation using industry-standard tools and techniques. My teaching is fueled by the belief that art is an ancient human gift, and I aim to help others unlock their creative potential through collaboration and imaginative thinking. I’m also in the early stages of designing a local nonprofit focused on transforming food waste into rich compost and vermicompost. The goal is to collaborate with local businesses and the community to provide free, healthy soil and castings for garden projects, enhancing our local environment and supporting sustainable practices. Technically proficient in a wide array of tools—from Blender and Unity to Photoshop and Illustrator—I also work with photogrammetry and create seamless digital textures, soundfonts, and music. My diverse skill set allows me to approach projects from multiple angles, whether it’s designing indie animation and video games, creating detailed drawings and paintings, developing new fonts, or experimenting with new mediums. I’m always open to new collaborations and eager to connect with others who share my passion for creativity and community-driven projects.
