I am a Northwestern University student who will graduate in June 2024 with a BA in History and a minor in Mathematics. I am also completing a certificate at the Northwestern's Segal Design Institute. Currently, I am supporting Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago on a project to optimize patient waiting experiences in their Emergency Department. I have also worked as a Nominee Research Coordinator for Chicago Innovation, where I played a key role in securing nominees for the annual Chicago Innovation Awards and in the production of several high-profile corporate events. My background in research, writing, quantitative work, public speaking, and leadership gives me a diverse range of transferrable skills. I take initiative and I collaborate with others to achieve goals. I lead the Northwestern World Cup club and have been able to secure funding through sponsorships to support the program. Some notable highlights from my career are: · Conducted research and outreach for the Chicago Innovation Awards and contacted companies via bulk email blasts, securing award nominees for team and meeting team target for nominations · Consulted Lurie Children's Hospital executives on waiting room layout redesign based on identified opportunity areas · Led Northwestern World Cup executive team to oversee finances/membership and developed partnership program, maintaining high membership and securing philanthropic partnership with TopSoccer Chicago · Organized logistics (securing funding, permits, and equipment for 100+ supervised games) for fundraising events and 3 campus-wide charity soccer tournaments, growing tournament participation In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, doing crosswords, and playing the trumpet.
