About Benjamin Kroeger
I'm a postdoctoral researcher passionate about unravelling the intricate molecular mechanisms that govern cell growth and organization. I currently work in Prof. Kieran Harvey’s lab, where I focus on the Hippo signalling pathway. This pathway plays a pivotal role in regulating organ size across various species and is closely linked to many human cancers. My research uses cutting-edge microscopy and biophysical techniques to uncover new insights into the Hippo pathway. I investigate its dynamics in both human cancer cells and Drosophila (fruit flies), aiming to make fundamental discoveries with potential clinical applications. My major interests are cell and developmental biology, signalling, mechanobiology, transcription, microscopy, and genetics.
