About Benjamin Loker
For 15 years I've traveled Arizona with my telescopes to provide educational and entertaining tours of the Universe at over events and counting. My clientele include a significant number of Fortune 100 & 500 companies, celebrities and VIP's from around the world. Since founding Arizona Star Tours I have been one of the few full-time astronomy edutainers and have very likely done the most professional group stargazing sessions since the invention of the telescope. I am passionate about bringing the Cosmos within reach using the latest telescopes and technology to show the most detailed and enchanting views of the night sky. Distilling complex astronomical information in a way the public can understand along with a sense of humor is what I am known for. My current project is building a 100% off-grid, solar powered observatory in the darkest location between Tucson and Phoenix on 140 acres of beautiful Sonoran Desert. With a background in building telescopes and inventing components for them I have a multifaceted approach to astronomy edutainment that brings a balance of technology, entertainment and education that will leave participants with an appreciation of the night sky and a desire to learn more.
