Turned a few wrenches and haven’t broken anything. Not bad, I guess… If by chance you’re here reading this seeking a Chinook Mechanic or some other form of fitter, well, I’m not going to sugar coat myself for you. Firstly I’m a mechanic, not an “Engineer”, as many other mechanics will flaunt themselves on here. Why is this important? Because it’s pure fabrication. I will speak truly and honestly, with evidence based knowledge and experience. In an industry where a truth can mean life or death, yeah, I think it’s important to be honest about oneself. Secondly, I think I’m good at what I do. Just “good”. Whilst I believe confidence is an important quality, I’ve personally seen over-confidence lead people down proverbial rabbit holes, only to be left scratching their heads. I’ll speak up when I’m confidently correct. I don’t “spitball”, as it were. Lastly, and because all good things come in threes, I’ve written this in my true dialect. I’ve told you already, I’m not going to sugar coat myself for you. I have read this statement back through a couple times and I’m pleased with how it reads. It sounds like me. And whilst I can produce professional writing at request, you came here looking for a mechanic. Well, this is how one speaks.
