About Benjamin Manning

Benjamin Manning is a sociable and driven student studying a dual Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation at the University of Technology Sydney. Ben has demonstrated significant ability throughout his major studies in Finance, and Advertising and Marketing Communications – both of which include numerous successful completions of group and individual projects. He has further shown considerable capability in creative problem solving during his double degree, which incorporates transdisciplinary learning that informs his innovative perspectives. In addition to his educational endeavours, Ben has over three years’ experience working as a waiter and bartender at the Four in Hand Hotel, Paddington. His position in this role entails responsibilities that both pertain to, and extend beyond, the coordination of functions and the maintenance of their organisation throughout. Not only do these tasks require highly developed communicative skills, but an in-depth understanding of interpersonal relations. Ben has also spent many of his recent years tutoring students up to the age of 18 in bagpipes, at The Scots College, as an alumnus of the school himself. As Ben enters his third year of study, he is eager to engage in more practical opportunities that can assist him in his present studies, and further into his future career path.
