Adaptability, growth and community; the past several years have been a great example of why these 3 factors are so important. Adaptability enables us to slow down, assess a situation, break it down, and approach it in a way we might not have first thought of. Growth allows us to internalize and learn from the unexpected. And community is what gives all of this value. Through our community, we're able to share what we've learned with our peers of all demographics. Throughout my career in software development, these principles have guided me towards taking on and rising to new challenges, mentoring others, and sharing these lessons along the way. I yearn to work in an environment that shares these values. Having been a developer for the past two decades, starting freelancing after graduating University, I have embraced and continuously advocated the value of clean, well-architected, maintainable code. I've built projects and applications using architectural best practices that survived the test of time. I have built my career as a tech enabler and innovator, and for my next role, I want to continue to build high performing engineering teams and define success metrics for them to strive towards. My experience ranges from industries such as marketing, retail, CPG, SCM, FinTech, eCommerce, insurance, and air travel. I live by agile and scrum methodologies and work tirelessly to provide and request fast, effective feedback by executing effectively and delivering for market solutions. I carry a growth mindset and continuously strive to lead with empathy.
