I started my career at Avon and Somerset Constabulary as a Police Community Support Officer which has been invaluable in giving myself a new set of skills and experiences including Crime Prevention, Crime Scene Security and leading in preventing Rural Crime. I have improved my self-management and found new and interesting ways to deal with confrontational and unpleasant situations. I have received extensive training and experience in problem solving. I am now an Investigations Officer with in CID specialising in Cyber Crime using specialist systems to retrieve digital evidence to progress criminal investigations. This also involves attending warrants and triaging digital devices. I am also trained in using MSAB technology to extract mobile phone data, The Police National Computer and National Data Base. I also have training and skills in interviewing suspects, witness and victims. I build trust with victim's and witnesses and offer care and safeguarding to those that need it. My skill set also includes investigation of serious and volume crime, police search techniques and dealing with confidential information and media. I also have experience with Microsoft Office products.
