About Benjamin Morgan

I am a former student athlete at Fairfield University, having been a member of the men's lacrosse team and the men's rugby club. At school I am also a member of the accounting club, which hosts monthly meetings with presentations from members of Big 4 accounting firms, alumni, current students, etc. My work experience includes being an intern for Liff, Walsh and Simmons/Eagle Title, where I assisted Attorney Paul Sckricus in executing commercial transactions within the law firm. Also helping with day-to-day internal activities such as writing and distributing checks, filling out settlement statements, and creating/deleting client files. I sat in on both commercial and residential transactions and experienced many professional conversations between lawyers and clients. I have also worked at PwC in Baltimore for the Private Mid-East team. I assisted members of the private team with preparing tax returns for privately held companies. Specifically, I learned how to do book to tax reconciliation, tax return review, work-paper creation, and was able to shadow team members on client visits as well as in the office.
