I specialize in aligning IT and operational strategy with institutional goals, leading enterprise-scale digital transformations, and delivering measurable outcomes through innovation, efficiency, and team empowerment. Currently serving as the Information Technology Officer for the University of New Mexico’s School of Engineering, I provide executive leadership for IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and departmental operations. In this role, I focus on strengthening IT service delivery, advancing research infrastructure, and driving innovation that impacts both faculty and student success. As a doctoral candidate in Business Administration, my research explores how to build agile, high-performing IT service teams in higher education through a framework I am developing called PILLAR (People, Innovation, Leadership, Learning, Agility, Results). This work bridges academic research with practical leadership to address gaps in traditional IT frameworks and create sustainable organizational outcomes.
