About Benjamin Neidich

I am a highly-engaging and results-driven school leader. I partner with staff and administrators to promote positive school culture, built on social-emotional competencies and research-based practices. I encourage positive interactions and active listening between students and staff members, as a means to solve problems and promote equity. I mentor students with supportive skills instruction on emotional regulation and conflict resolution. I also provide staff with guidance in classroom management and restorative justice practices. I drive work in PBIS and am a leader in MTSS and student problem-solving. I strive to make my school a better place for everyone. In addition to my work as a dean, I have been an effective classroom teacher that motivated and created success in diverse student populations. I provided students with social-emotional support that allowed them to feel comfortable taking risks and drives them to independently continue their learning outside the classroom setting. I took pride in developing rigorous student-centered curricula that focus on both skills and content, preparing my students for their academics, as well as provide them with skills they will need upon entering the workforce. I have achieved National Board Certification twice, which demonstrated my ability to help my students develop strong academic skills as well as think critically about the world they live in.
