Dedicated college student pursuing a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, with an expected graduation in October 2024. Obtained the following IT certifications: CompTIA Network+, A+, Project+, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, and CompTIA Security+. Familiar with Python and Bash scripting, having written scripts for basic automation tasks and command execution. Actively working to improve skills in both languages and eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. Seeking opportunities in help desk, service desk, desktop support, junior network administration, junior system administration, network operation center, or security operation center roles. Accomplishments: Participated in the NCAE cyber games competition on March 16, 2024 with a team of 9 other students. The preparation and event included working with CentOS, RockyLinux, managing Linux security and file permissions, configuring firewalls, Linux networking, and configuring and maintaining the team’s DNS server. Participated in and completed a NICE challenge entitled: “extra NICE Challenge: Stig (complexity 1)”. The challenge required remediating 17 system vulnerabilities on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system while creating technical documentation. Organized a Windows Server Active Directory environment, including configuring user accounts and permissions. Organized a Linux environment, including Ubuntu, Kali, Debian, and CentOS. Configured VLANs and subnets using OpenvSwitch virtual switches and a VyOS virtual router.
