Geography is an essential factor in our lives. GIS Technology enables digital interaction with a changing world to increase our understanding of how our objectives can be achieved with creativity and innovation and with a focus on sustainability. More than 15 years Project Management experience in Germany and the United Kingdom, helping international and national customers realise their visions through implementation of technological solutions, has taught me the importance of good communication and collaboration, a common vision and the need for creativity and adaptability to change. I value service, enjoy learning and find fulfilment in enabling others, particularly those new to the insights that a geographical perspective can bring. PMP certified for almost 10 years, I embrace the need to maintain certification through development of skills and exposure to project management experiences in diverse fields. I am proud to be part of a company that is committed to creating a sustainable future and plan on further developing Green Skills in the next phase of my professional development. My earlier career has encompassed Map Making and Land Surveying in Cheddar, U.K. and the Hunter Valley in N.S.W, Australia. I have mapped bushfires for the National Parks and Wildlife Service, consulted with a vintner before marking out where Shiraz and Chardonnay would be planted, acted as Technical Lead for a key subcontractor in Ordnance Survey’s one-off Positional Accuracy Improvement Programme, verified mapping on the ground in Scotland and managed a team mapping various parts of the world from Satellite Imagery. I am fortunate to have worked with many talented people in Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, Romania and Ukraine and to have learnt a great deal from them.
