Dr. Ogwo is a professor & chair of the Department of Career & Technical Educator Preparation at the State University of New York at Oswego. He is an erudite scholar and experienced consultant with extensive experience in designing and implementing workforce development programs. Dr. Ogwo has managed several national and international projects aimed at introducing sustainable educational innovations. With 31 years in academics as well as consultancy experiences around the world, he possesses the expertise to design/implement workforce programs for personnel in the energy, oil, banking, telecommunication, education, and manufacturing sectors of the economy. As a consultant, his passion is to avail of his expertise and knowledge towards the technical and attitudinal up-skilling of workers for the 21st-century occupational challenges. Dr. Ogwo has worked on different training-related projects with many development agencies, namely, the World Bank, UNESCO, UNICEF, International Labour Organization (ILO), HP, African Development Bank, African Technology Policy Studies Network (ATPS), and Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). Dr. Ogwo has undertaken varied international professional/consultancy activities in the following countries: Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Germany, France, India, Italy, Jamaica, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Mozambique, South Africa, South Korea, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, and the United States of America. His research interests are in informal sector training, non-formal education, instructional system design, training program development, entrepreneurship, workforce education, instructional technology/eLearning, and change management.
