Background
About Benjamin Pepper
My personal injury law firm is located in Bellingham, Washington, although I serve clients in Bellingham, Burlington, Mount Vernon, and throughout Whatcom County, Skagit County, and all of Northwest Washington. I handle cases involving car accidents and other motor vehicle accidents, defective and dangerous products, premises liability, and other serious injuries. I speak fluent Spanish, and my office offers legal services in both English and Spanish. My wife, Maria Carolina, is Venezuelan, and helps me keep my Spanish sharp! I enjoy serving the large Spanish-speaking population in Northwest Washington. I was born and raised in Bellingham, Washington, and have been involved with the law since high school when I began working part-time for a local firm. I received my undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Oregon in 2005, and went on to attend Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. During law school, I served as a judicial extern at the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, was elected Lead Articles Editor of the Lewis & Clark Law Review, and served as a teaching assistant for the law school’s legal writing program and several other courses. I graduated magna cum laude in 2012. After graduating law school, I worked as a judicial clerk at the Oregon Court of Appeals. Since clerking, I have been involved in several high-profile cases, including the Volkswagen “clean diesel” litigation, the Wells Fargo unauthorized accounts litigation, and the Syngenta GMO corn litigation. I ultimately decided to return to Bellingham to open my own law firm in October 2017. I am lucky to have good friends and mentors in the legal community, and I sincerely enjoy serving my clients and growing my firm.
