About Benjamin Pomidor

My current focus is on machine learning, algorithm development, visualization, and statistical analysis software programming, but I have a strong interdisciplinary background and enjoy exposure to other fields. I'm at my best when I'm developing and testing solutions to complex problems with challenging constraints.I've published geometric morphometric analysis and visualization software to provide a Generalized Procrustes Analysis analogue in a landmark-free environment using point clouds from 3D surface scans. In my spare time I'm working on extending this analysis to non-manifold surface meshes in a new software package, featuring real-time OpenGL rendering for visualization and improved sample registration, homology estimation, and deformation methods.
