With over eighteen years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management, I am a passionate and dedicated Safety Specialist at Wolverine Power Cooperative, a leading provider of reliable and affordable energy in Michigan. As a Certified Loss Control Professional, I work with the safety team and field operations and generation to implement and monitor safety programs, policies, and procedures that comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards. I also conduct OSHA training, audits, inspections, investigations, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards, prevent accidents, and ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and contractors. In my previous roles as Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety at HOMRICH and Job Safety Representative/ Project Manager at Sorensen Gross, I successfully managed and completed multiple environmental and demolition projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency. I have strong skills in communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork, and I am always eager to learn and improve.
