About Benjamin Sannar

I'm a senior in Mechanical engineering at Brigham Young University looking for opportunities to work and grow in the field. I enjoy taking on new challenges and learning from diverse perspectives. I'm a co-founder of DryRise, an IOT startup grown out of the Crocker Innovation Fellowship at BYU. DryRise's mission is to give back freedom and dignity to teens and adults that struggle with nocturnal enuresis by ending bedwetting. we eventually hope to expand this mission to include adults with diminished urinary sensation and parents of small children. For the last three years I've been a part of the BYU Design Exploration Reasearch Group Where I've helped to publish work investigating the long-term impacts of early design decisions. I grew up in the central valley of California seeing and taking part in many aspects of agriculture. I'm fascinated by the ideas that are sprouting in the field of automated and precision agriculture, and want to support the individuals that build and feed our communities.
