About Benjamin Sarles

20 years of design detailing in various industries has prepared me to work in group collaborations and tackle challenging projects whenever they present themselves. I’ve worked in Civil, MEP, Structural, and other design firms with my primary time working and leading teams in the Low Voltage, AV, Security, and Structural Cabling industries. For the past 6 years, I have worked as the supervisor in a small CAD team, and I have strived to ensure that deadlines were met within their intended delivery date and budget. Working with the design engineers and sales team when the hours allotted didn’t line up with the amount of work required. I have also strived to keep my team’s skills at the forefront of company standards and training needs as far as keeping my team fluent in Revit and AutoCAD. I’ve been on several teams that have developed drafting standards. I’ve worked on several computer-aided design software packages. AutoCAD is the primary software I have worked in; I have also transitioned to becoming the BIM Coordinator for Diversified focusing on standardizing our Revit and BIM required projects also meet the established drafting standards and requirements.I have worked on projects in multiple countries in my career and feel comfortable adapting to changing standards to fit the client's expectations and practices. I embrace the challenge of working with teams from several countries and industries to complete large multidiscipline projects.
