Physician executive with deep experience in musculoskeletal care, ambulatory surgery, and clinical operations, focused on improving quality, access, and value in specialty care delivery. I am a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon whose work now centers on clinical governance, care-model design, and decision-making support across complex clinical environments. After 17 years in practice as a high-volume hip and knee surgeon, I transitioned from full-time operative practice into physician leadership roles to focus on system-level impact. While I no longer maintain a high-volume surgical practice, I remain clinically engaged through consultative care, quality oversight, and clinical decision-making roles, working closely with frontline clinicians and operational teams. My leadership work emphasizes practical implementation: aligning physicians, strengthening clinical programs, reducing unnecessary variation, and translating value-based care principles into day-to-day clinical operations. I focus on building reliable, patient-centered models that support clinicians while improving outcomes and efficiency. I currently serve in a senior clinical leadership role at Commons Clinic, supporting clinical strategy, quality oversight, and care-model development as the organization evolves its outpatient specialty programs. My responsibilities span physician alignment, ambulatory surgery strategy, clinical governance, and outcomes-focused program design. In addition, I serve as Chair of the Practice Management Committee for the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), sit on the Editorial Board of The Journal of Arthroplasty, and have been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. Earlier in my career, I participated in CMS BPCI-A and helped drive meaningful cost savings while maintaining high-quality surgical outcomes. Outside of my primary role, I selectively advise and invest in early-stage healthcare companies focused on improving clinical decision-making, diagnostics, and care delivery. I also write for a professional audience of clinicians and healthcare operators on topics related to clinical strategy, quality, and the evolving role of physicians in healthcare systems.
