About Benjamin Shaw

My passion in life is to run the family business. My Family owns a Rubbish and Recycling company located in Southern New Hampshire called G. W. Shaw and Son. Since high school, I have wanted to follow in my fathers footsteps by taking over the family business. The family business is rather complicated since we have a couple little businesses that support each other. My father runs and manages the Rubbish and Recycling, and Septic Service, while my grandfather runs our family farm in which he raises livestock. My whole life I have helped both of them and my favorite part has been working with animals. There is still plenty of things that I need to learn more about the Rubbish and Recycling portion. My goal at Southern New Hampshire University is to learn as much information as I can to help my family business grow to what it could be. With my skills of adaptability, arranger, and achiever, I can change the business to become more sustainable, run properly, and have a positive impact with the help of SNHU. With my expected degree in Business Administration with concentration of entrepreneurship, I believe I will be leaving SNHU with great ideas that will change the family business for the better.
