About Benjamin Smith

After a graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2013, I started to work at an animal hospital in Owasso, Oklahoma as a veterinarian technician. As a veterinarian technician, I did blood work, administer medication, placed IV catheters and administer fluids, assisted the veterinarian, etc. In 2015, I decided that I needed a change in pace in my career and have a career that I could utilize my degree. In April of 2015,I started as a QA tech and HACCP tech at a small company which produced both raw and cooked product. I quickly promoted to QA/HACCP lead in December 2015. As a QA/HACCP lead, I monitored all quality and HACCP protocols and prerequisites, reported and wrote any standard or HACCP deviations, address non-complies from the USDA, Foreign material reports, monitored and verified Good Manufacturing Procedures, etc.
