About Benjamin Sokol

I have always had a passion for making connections and meeting new people. My parents always pushed me as a young child to go out in class and create as many friendships as possible. In my first few years of elementary school, I created friendships that would last till high school and beyond. My passion for meeting people remains with me as I gain new connections throughout the next 4 years of my college experience and into the world of business. I have developed collaboration skills through my time working as a co-president for Student Advisory Board at my high school. In response to receiving many complaints from students within the school, I worked amongst my co-presidents, the principal, and the student board to create solid plans for fixing issues throughout the school. Making a change in my community has always been a top priority for me in high school. Whether it is teaching kids with autism how to play basketball and work with teams or having one on one sessions with kids teaching them social skills and socially expectable behaviors. Making a difference in my community has always been a passion in my life and I plan on keeping those values in line no matter what challenges life throws at me.
