I am broadly interested in using chemical, physical, and computational tools to study systems in material and biological settings. My other interests lie in catalytic design and energy problems the world faces. My coursework includes a broad range of STEM topics, preparing me for many different fields. Some of my previous work includes: efforts to develop a protein scaffold for recording neuronal activity across the brain; investigations on the mechanical properties of the cell membrane; the encapsulation of unstable 2D materials in van der Waals heterostructures for different transport measurements; and the exploration of novel solid-state refrigerant systems.
