About Benjamin Vogel

Hello! My name is Ben Vogel and I am currently a senior at Hope College studying Political Science and Philosophy. I have a profound interest in the development and exchange of philosophical ideas that can improve and preserve local communities and contribute to overall human flourishing. I believe that politics and the political systems we have in place should be leveraged to attain these endsI have been involved in numerous extracurricular clubs and organizations, including Hope Catholics, serving as Secretary for the Hope College Republicans, and Emmaus Scholars. I have gained clerical, warehouse, and customer service experience in various jobs I have held since high school. I also have formal journalistic and academic research work experience. I have several career interests ranging from local government/public policy to non-profit and secondary education to business logistics. I hope that my skills, knowledge, experience, and perspective can meaningfully contribute to the mission and work of any organization or community I join.
