The Editorial Lead (Projects and Systems) is responsible for developing all commercial publication projects in MA Healthcare, as well as driving improvements in editorial and project-management systems. The role involves collaborative leadership in editorial strategy, skills training and process improvement Responsibilities: • Oversee manuscript development and copyediting of all commercial publication projects • Work with sales on project proposals and develop proposals into briefs • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure projects meet objectives and expectations • Coordinate with project managers to accelerate delivery times and meet deadlines • Liaise with individual journal editors to align project work with the wider publication • Brief and work with the design studio and production on visual design and print matters • Work with the dev team on designing and implementing digital projects • Delegate project-related editorial responsibilities among the wider MAH editorial team • Identify skill gaps and train colleagues in technical, editorial and project-management best practices • Lead the wider MAH team in driving systemic efficiencies to maximise productivity and quality, as well as minimise risks and costs
