About Benjamin Weaver

Fourteen plus years experience in the O&G sector, with a focus and passion for inline inspection. I began my career with Baker (Hughes) Atlas as a Completions Engineer, then transitioned to BJ Services as a Senior Mechanical Technologist working in inline inspection. After the Baker Hughes/BJ Services merger I was promoted to Operations Supervisor for the inline inspection group and ultimately the District Manager for all of US ILI Pipeline Inspections, a $50 million operation. I spent two years as Global Asset Manager for Inline Inspection where I was engaged in the integration of ILI fleet assets to support the Weatherford acquisition and the Baker Hughes GE merger. I had the opportunity to spend just shy of 2 years working for NDT Global as an Area Sales Manager, sharing the advantages of ultrasonic technologies with US based clients. I’m now enjoying my new endeavor with Geocorr communicating the exciting opportunities provided by the Geocorr technology portfolio. I am recognized as a subject matter expert in ILI pipeline inspection and have been the “go to” person in the US, Canada and Gulf of Mexico to troubleshoot projects and complex tooling. Additionally, I have been credited with building and mentoring strong field teams and resolving issues with our clients. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in multisite operating management, P&L management, global asset management, client development and retention, proposal development, technical services management, troubleshooting, as well as technical selling and account management.
