About Benjamin Yi

As a Columbia University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, I have a strong foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering. I leveraged my skills and passion for backend development and data engineering in my most recent role as a Chief of Staff at SPICYEST, a leading NFT market maker. At SPICYEST, I structured market-making deals for NFT collections and major marketplaces, utilizing quantitative risk management strategies to reduce exposure to market volatility. I also spearheaded collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to define product vision, strategy, and feature prioritization. Previously, I worked as a Backend Software Engineer at Xaxis and Tangible, where I implemented large-scale ETL systems, RESTful APIs, microservices, and machine learning models using Python, Django, Airflow, and Datadog. I am motivated by solving complex problems, creating value for users, and learning new technologies.
