About Bennett A. Bramson

Bennett Bramson, MPA, has been nationally recognized and honored as a Realtor, author, community leader, philanthropist, educator, nonprofit executive, and consultant. Bennett is a certified EcoBroker, ABR, RENE, SRS, RSPS and CLP with Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's Realty in Basalt, Colorado. He is a past President of the Aspen Board of Realtors, former State Director of the Colorado Association of Realtors, and a past President of the Basalt Chamber of Commerce. He was honored as Basalt's first ever "Citizen of the Year" in 2014. He was honored as the 2012 Aspen "Realtor of the Year." His book, BASALT - Images of America, a pictorial history, was published by Arcadia Publishing in 2013. His numerous consulting clients have included four major cruise lines, the US Dept's. of Labor, Education, & Agriculture, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, City of Aspen, Aspen Club & Spa, Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA), and many others. He has been a faculty member at five universities and has been honored for his teaching acumen by three different institutions. He was honored by the Florida International University Alumni Association with the Torch Award for Community Leadership in 2007 and Johnson & Wales University as Faculty Member of the Year in 1997 - 98. He teaches the Colorado Real Estate Brokers license course and the full catalogue of business courses at CMC.He received the Aspen Rotary Club's prestigious "Tom Sardy Award" for community service in 2006; was honored by Rotary again in 2011 as a Paul Harris Fellow; and inducted as an Honorary Life Member in 2014. In 2002, he was named "Volunteer of the Year" by Hands-On Miami of United Way of Miami-Dade County and was honored by Pitkin County with the "Greg Mace Volunteer of the Year" Award in 2013. In 2016, he was honored as the Colorado Mountain College Aspen campus Faculty Member of the Year. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Parks & Recreation.
