About Bennett Cooper

I got my first job when I was 13 as a referee for a youth soccer league. At the time I didn’t think I learned that much. Looking back I learned how important punctuality is and why being on time is so important. If I was late, the game started late and parents would get mad. At least that was my assumption, and I wasn’t ever late. My second job at Dairy Queen was a very different experience. I worked there for a year and I worked a lot. The most important thing I learned is that it doesn’t matter how much money you make if you spend it all on things you won’t remember in 6 years. So I make a budget once a week now, and a separate one at the beginning of each month. My third job was at Ragle INC. and it was an incredible eye opening experience, it was only seasonal work but I worked full time my summer going into Sophomore year of high school. I worked with a team we solved a lot of problems and needed excellent communication skills. Then I worked at Schnucks for over 2 years and learned a lot about customer service. I worked Subway after that. I went to Ivy Tech for a couple months to become and EMT and decided that it wasn’t for me. So I graduated in May 2021 and started my first full-time job at Liberty Federal Credit Union. I did indirect quality assurance and learned about real professionalism and attention to detail. After a year and a half I decided to go to USI for computer science in 2023. At the same time I started working at The Newburgh Group, a recruiting firm specifically for financial institutions. Both USI and The Newburgh group were incredible experiences but I left them and started working for temp agencies, I have forktruck, warehouse, and tugger car experience. Finally, I found my place as a BDC Agent for D-Patrick Honda and I absolutely love it. All my expierence somehow correlates to all the work I do here. Making phone calls for TNG, customer service at Schnucks, Dairy Queen, and Subway, working with a team like at Ragle INC. having great attention to detail and working with loan paperwork like at LFCU. All the work I’ve done has brought me to the place I had been looking for since graduating HS 3 years ago. I’m forever grateful towards all my previous employers and my current ones… Thank you all.
