Over 25 years of engineering experience dealing with all aspects engineering including office management, staff development, project management, budget preparation, project design, and conflict management. • Is currently the Director of Public Services for City of Benbrook, developed a very strong working relationship with department staff and other staff throughout the City, understands City and County procedures for design, planning and development, construction, and procurement. • Reviewed construction plans and specifications for all types of projects including: street reconstruction, sanitary sewer projects, water projects, drainage projects, new building construction and land development projects. • Very familiar with project cost estimating for street reconstruction and repairs, water system rehabilitation and repairs, sanitary sewer system rehabilitation and repairs, and drainage system improvements. • Very comfortable advising various groups including: Commissioner Courts, City Councils, Planning and Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustments, Parks and Recreation Board, Library Board, Home Owner Associations, North Central Texas Council of Governments, etc. • Responsible for managing the budget in Public Services. • Also the City’s Floodplain Manager and very familiar with FEMA ordinances for floodplain development, natural disaster reimbursement, Community Rating System, and much more. • Gas Well Drilling and Production Experience – prepared gas drilling and production ordinances, reviewed all the gas drilling permits, gas pipeline permits, and inspected drilling operations.
