About Bennett Koranteng

I am a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, in which I graduated with an interdisciplinary degree in User Interface/User Experience design. As an interdisciplinarian at VCU, I gained a very unique and special perspective on UI/UX. Obtaining extensive amounts of exposure on all of the intersecting aspects of the profession gives me a unique blend of skills to bring to the table. With my experience in things such as visual design, application/software development, information architecture, design research, design strategy, prototyping/wireframing, usability testing, user research, product design, product management, and UI/UX design, I'm well equipped to handle any and all projects or challenges that lie in my wake. Outside of the technical skills I've gained, I was fortunate enough to procure a proficiency in some softer skills as well. Necessary mastery over things like collaboration, communication, problem-solving, story-telling, and of course an in-depth understanding of design principles has improved my overall comprehension on UI/UX and the expectations had by employers and clients within this field. I'm currently searching for a remote entry or intermediate level position, but am more than willing to relocate if need be.
