About Bennett Shaver

I am entering my Senior year at the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. I am majoring in Accounting and minoring in Spanish for the Professions and Religious Studies. I plan to graduate in May of 2026. I recently returned home from Costa Rica after a semester-long study abroad experience, and currently have a summer internship at Central United Methodist Church serving as the Finance and Ministry intern. Last summer, I completed an Accounting/Audit internship at The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas. This past school year, I was a Senior Project Manager at the McMillon Innovation Studio, a member of Leadership Walton, directed worship at the U of A Wesley College Ministry, and was a mentor in the BE BOLD program through the Volunteer Action Center. My leadership and collaborative abilities come from projects at the McMillon Innovation Studio and leading worship on campus. My academic drive is represented in my Honors coursework and Honors Thesis at the U of A, as well as involvement in Leadership Walton. Additionally, I was the founding Salutatorian, participated in National Honor Society, was a Student Circle Leader, and was a Student Ambassador at my high school, Valor College Prep. My social-emotional intelligence and awareness come from being a BE BOLD mentor, leading Sunday school and club K6 at Central United Methodist Church, and being a camp counselor at Barefoot Republic and Sky Ranch camps.
