About Benny Lin

Extensively educated and trained in TCM in China and the US, Benny Lin has had thirty years of professional TCM experience in both countries. As a TCM educator, Dr. Lin served as an associate professor at a major Chinese TCM University in his early years, and has been a popular and much praised lecturer in graduate programs in the US for the past decade, teaching such subjects as Tui-na and acupuncture techniques at various TCM colleges. In addition to mentoring clinical interns, Dr. Lin offers higher level seminars in a wide range of subjects including formula writing, Master Tong’s points, abdominal acupuncture, and external application of herbs. As a TCM practitioner, Benny Lin refined his skills as a chief clinician at a Chinese TCM University hospital for many years, followed by nearly twenty years of working as an acupuncturist, herbalist, and Tui-na specialist in his private clinics in New York City, Torrance, and Los Angeles. Combining his deep theoretical understanding and masterful clinical expertise, Benny Lin has developed various new treatment methods for rare and complicated diseases, specializing in orthopedics, muscular strains, pain management, and sport injuries. As a pioneer who integrates the best of traditional and modern TCM, Benny Lin’s contributions to frontier TCM studies are also represented in his notable publications including “Spine- Related Diseases” and “Masters of TCM Series/Kong Bohua”, as well as the various professional affiliations and positions he holds with esteemed TCM associations worldwide.
