Fortunately, I am good at putting teams together because I love matching my firm's niche services and highly technical teammates abilities to our client's needs while offering recognizable value to underground projects. Our ability to manage project risk due to our history of providing design services directly for contractors, prime engineers and project owner is one of the biggest benefits in working with our team. We know how sh*t gets built. After almost two decades in the tunneling and geotechnical engineering field I have been blessed to work with the good, the bad and the ugly on civil projects. These experiences have led me to cherish the trusted relationships and not waste time with uncollaborative teammates. As a first-generation college kid with an untraditional career path (three community colleges, kicked out of the Marines, career changing accident as a union sheet metal apprentice) I have developed the grit that has been critical in the success of my professional endeavors and relationships. With this varied background i have developed an appreciation of all viewpoints, from a project laborer to a company president. With the help of my lovely wife I am well down a spiritual path and there's no turning back. By no means am I spiritually enlightened however the glimpses of true peace and joy i have experienced on this journey have become a passion. It’s simply amazing how easy life can flow when one observes the workings of the monkey mind, minimizes the ego's grip on behavior, avoids suffering and learns the art of acceptance. My goal in this life is to leave it better than I found it while providing opportunities for those around me. And if i can find some Work Friends along the way, that'd be splendid. Cheers!
