Beno Koolstra heeft van 2006 tot 2018 bij Arcadis gewerkt als senior adviseur ecologie. Daarvoor werkte hij ruim 9 jaar bij Alterra-Wageningen UR gewerkt waarvan de laatste 5 jaar als teammanager van een groep van ongeveer 25 landschapsecologen, juristen en bestuurskundigen.
