About Benoit Castres

I’m a dynamic supplier chain professional working on worldwide supply chain implementation and improvement for automotive projects. I'm accountable for the cost reporting on logistics side for coming project. I also worked as packaging manager on the packaging aspects of a new vehicle project in the Slovak plant of PSA with internal teams, parts and packagings suppliers. I've always been interested by operations and supply chain, by its complexity and the challenges linked to operating a plant. Along my previous experiences I get the opportunity to get exposure to different industries and business with different approaches. But I'm I also keen of digital and new technologies applications (for instance I deployed a BI application within a Finance function in collaboration with end-users). Globally all my experiences required autonomy and initiative spirit to be successful. I get project management skills and technical skills in the field of BI/Reporting and O & SC. I also made some minor IT and tech projects (MySQL database, Chatbots, technology watch over industrial robots and automatization). and able to provide precious inputs for decision-making, to support the day-to-day operations (up to taking charge of orders administration during my previous internship) and to look for improvements of the current processes.
