About Benoit Gagnaire

With over 16 years of experience in the aerospace industry, I am the co-founder and CTO of AIRSEAS, a company that develops and deploys innovative solutions for reducing the environmental impact of maritime transport. At AIRSEAS, I lead a team of engineers and experts who design, test, and optimize wing sails that can harness the wind power and save up to 20% of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions for cargo ships. I also oversee the development and integration of smart software and hardware systems that can monitor and control the wing sails in real time, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. Before launching AIRSEAS, I worked as an aircraft performance engineer and a flight simulation engineer at Airbus Group, where I contributed to various projects related to aerodynamics, propulsion, flight mechanics, and optimization. I have a strong background and passion for engineering, innovation, and aircrafts, as demonstrated by my skills in Ingénierie, Innovation, and Aircrafts, and by my involvement in multiple patents and publications in the field.
