About Benoit Piavaux

During my carreer I acquired extensive knowledge in fundamental medical, pre-clinical and clinical research. At the start I was mainly involved in clinical trials and in chemistry, manufacturing and control of new drug products. I later moved to the fundamental medical and pre-clinical research. My driving force has always been the will to participate in the improvement of human health. In almost all position I have worked in, I was involved in setting up new (parts of) labs and new techniques. I really like this type of challenges that involve a lot of troubleshooting and thinking on how to make things go as smoothly and efficiently as possible, while maintaining high standards for reliability and quality. Programming has also always been a very useful and enjoyable skill, as it allowed me to automate a lot of processes and data handling, which fits very well in my quest for efficiency.
