I worked for nearly 30 years (26 years overseas) for A.P. Moller - Maersk Line in several management positions – mainly in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. I have managed and operated general cargo and passenger vessels on Lake Victoria and logistics services in East Africa. Over 10 years of experience with sourcing and exporting Cocoa for an international Cocoa trading firm, based in Switzerland. Starting from scratch, today ATW is one of the biggest buyers and exporters of Cocoa beans from Uganda. I have extensive experience with Board Membership, Country Management, Sales Management, and Business Development with a demonstrable track record in start-ups. I have been involved in various assignments within the regional shipping environment incl. infrastructure projects, market and feasibility studies, in cooperation with companies like eleQtra (USA), OSK-Shiptech (Denmark), Niras (Denmark), and Alego (Norway).
