About Berkan Can

Developing and maintaining the electronic component library for the SMT production line was my main responsibility as an EE Library Specialist at Continental. I worked with the Automotive IT Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Technologies team to ensure the quality, accuracy, and compatibility of the library data and the production processes. I also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, engineers, and managers, to provide support and feedback on the SMT line performance and improvement opportunities.I have a strong background in electronics packaging, electronics design, and electronics production, thanks to my IT Engineering Degree from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. During my studies, I completed a four-month internship as a Bachelor Student Manufacturing Execution System at Continental, where I learned about the MES software and hardware, and contributed to the implementation and testing of the MES project.I am proficient in German and English, and have deep experience in ECAD software tools such as Zuken.Now I am looking forward and feel pleasured to be part of the Siemens Family to move Digitalization in the entire industry straight forward. My education and internship experiences have prepared me for my current role and motivated me to pursue a career in the Electronics and Medical Devices area, where I can apply my skills and knowledge to support the customers with innovative and sustainable solutions from Siemens.
