Bernard Barrett

Background

About Bernard Barrett

I endeavour to be a forward looking person, who while valuing the past, wants to learn from it in order to move forward. Some of the attributes which flow from this are attempting to be a careful listener, taking the time to frame questions carefully, being both evaluative and strategic in whatever projects I undertake, and always seeking to recognise and value the needs and qualities of the person before the process. I've considerable experience of working with/managing electronic databases, undertaking desk based research, undertaking teaching and training, as well as chairing/facilitating groups - both local and national. I also possess an academic background in Theology, Philosophy and related subjects. I am happy with my own company, but also enjoy collaborating / working with people on shared projects. My objective is to always to help people to grow, both professionally and personally – including myself in the process! Some examples of my work can be found via my profiles on both the Lenus and Research Gate web sites.
