About Bernard Johnson

President and Co-Owner of BJ Inspections, Inc. I retired from 20+ years with the U.S. Coast Guard working with the EPA, DEP and local & state agencies on many Hazardous Environmental Responses. I then performed various duties throughout the gas and oil sector, from inspection to project management. Now I am dedicated to running a QA/QC company that acts as the eyes and ears for its clients. BJ Inspections provides quality assurance, quality control (QA/QC) and managerial services to the gas and oil industry throughout all phases of project construction. QA/QC inspections are a vital safeguard for project compliance with the myriad of technical, governmental and safety standards and regulations. My brother and I wanted to create an inspection company rooted in a deep commitment to quality and customer service. BJI’s services are available from initial project planning to commissioning and close-out documentation, ensuring that facilities are built to client and all applicable standards. I thought I would put together some bullets about our company and what BJI & I believe in. Trust is the foundation of our business relationships. BJI believes in a handshake and a promise; an agreement to work with a client is a promise to provide an exceptional experience, from start to finish. When staffing, we emphasize finding the “right fit” for the job. No two projects are alike, just as no two inspectors are alike. The right inspector is one whose skills, experiences and qualifications match the demands of the project. BJI’s resume includes distribution & transmission pipelines, compressor stations, above ground storage tanks, pressure vessels, rail-transportation projects, transmission stations, LNG facilities, fractionation facilities, measurement stations as well as storage and gathering fields, well pad new construction & reclamation & AS-Built/CAD. The past 11 years we have been heavily involved in all aspects of Gas Distribution.
