About Bernard McGuirk

I am an operationally focused individual who has developed a broad set of key management skill sets across IT, Supplier, Data and Operational Risk. I consider myself very practical and focused in my approach to dealing with individuals and committed in terms of delivering solutions. I am very logical in my approach to dealing with people and would have also developed strong customer and supplier relationship management skill sets over the years. My roles to date involved engagement with all levels of the organisation from individuals in business units all the way up to CFO/ CEO. My negotiating skills have taught me how to listen and understand others, being able to remain calm and in control at times of crisis, as well as being able to convince others to commit and deliver on the solutions needed. I have strong incident and problem management skills developed through most of the roles I have performed over my career to date along with a number of years managing and delivering change projects and programmes within the Telecoms Infrastructure across a large corporate business which has allowed me develop strong project management skills in terms of delivery, finance and risk.
